In 2010, the theme park industry forever changed. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened at Universal’s Islands of Adventure park in Florida. Always viewed as a distant second to Disney’s theme park empire, Universal finally rivaled Disney. With its attendance skyrocketing, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was an instant success and one of the best themed lands ever created.
With the success of Harry Potter in Florida, it was only a matter of time before The Wizarding World would open at Universal Studios Hollywood. After six years, the west coast finally received its version of The Wizarding World in April 2016. And just like Florida, The Wizarding World at Universal Studios Hollywood was an instant success.
We visited The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Hollywood for the first time in 2017. We instantly fell in love and knew this place was something special. Themed perfectly to the movies and J.K. Rowling’s outstanding novels, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter offers some of the best attractions, restaurants and shops found at any theme park.
